FC Schalke 04

FC Schalke 04 is a soccer club based in Schalke district, Germany. It plays in Bundesliga and is one of the most popular soccer club, though major successes have been rare since the club’s golden period in the 1930s and early 40s. Established in 1904, the club have won 7 German championships titles, 5 DFB-Pokals titles, 1 DFL-Super Cup and 1 UEFA Europa League. 

Originally, the club’s home stadium was Park stadion. When the club won the 1997 UEFA Cup for the first time historically and their centennial celebration in 2004, they decided to build a new multi-function stadium. Now, the club’s home stadium is Veltins-Arena which is also a 5-star football court of UEFA. The stadium can take 53,993 people with 72 administrative wing rooms on the two-storied grandstand.
